Summers end mean the end of our 2010-2011 ministry theme. “Flip’d”, based on Acts 17:6 was all about turning our world upside down for Jesus. It is evident from youth service events and youth camps that many of our students caught that vision.
Now it’s time to roll out our new ministry theme for the 2011-2012 ministry year. “I Surrender”
“I Surrender” will be the theme of all ministry events planned by the WNC Youth & Discipleship Department. I encourage all of our local church student and children’s ministries departments to join us by implementing the “I Surrender” theme.
“I Surrender” has three focus points of ministry that I am asking our student and children’s ministers to focus on this year.
• I surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ
• I surrender to the infilling of the Holy Spirit
• I Surrender to God’s call upon my life
